Spanning 3 levels is Germain, a restaurant in Paris, designed by Iranian born and Paris based architect India Mahdavi.
Using scale to dramatic effect, the feature of the design is am imposing but impressive yellow sculpture of a woman in an overcoat and high heels.
Using humour and colour to inspire and enliven, the giant sculpture extends over 2 levels, split in the middle, its lower half stands on the café first floor while the upper body and head break through the ceiling to the upper level VIP lounge area.
Other combinations of colours add to the theatrical design, set against the yellow, brown and red furniture accents, and turquoise blue walls trimmed in stark white to finish.
A unique space that will surely capture your imagination.
