VINTAGE SYNTHS WITH A FRESH SOUND

If you like music that’s as roomy and airy as an open loft, then this is the gig for you. Opening on Friday the 3rd of September at Recital Hall East, Sydney Conservatorium ‘An Infinity Room’ is like the pleasant feeling of a half-remembered dream.

Composer Julian Day and his menagerie of musicians create a sound that begs you to get lost in its hypnotic, haunting and seemingly endless refrains. Vintage synths, keyboards and electric organs all combine to create a timeless, culture-free sound. If you’re in the neighbourhood for a unique night of original music, then take in the fresh sounds of A.I.R.
