This weekend Bondi Beach celebrates its first ever community festival! A team of Bondi’s finest were given the go ahead from Waverley Council earlier this year, and they’ve been working around the clock to put together some exciting and interesting events this weekend from May 6-9.

Groupie Magazine is proud to be a presenting partner for Garage Nites, which lands at the Beach Road Hotel on Saturday night. Head along from 8pm to see Royal Headache, The Frowning Clouds and The Straight Arrows. $10 will get you in and also earns you a free Coopers! These three hot young bands have been put together by Bondi local and Love Police founder Brian ‘BT’ Taranto.

There is loads more going on in Bondi throughout the weekend including a massive garage sale trail, special Bondi-themed meals at local restaurants, an outdoor cinema and a pirate-themed surfing competition to name just a few.
