American indie/surf-rockers and Laneway headliners The Drums are teaming up with Australian indie/surf-rockers Bleeding Knees Club for a series of secret, intimate shows in coming weeks.
Organised by IOHYOU – the collective behind Bleeding Knees, DZ Deathrays and Snakadaktal, and with an established rep for hosting wild parties – the “Secret Chaos” tour will see The Drums in DJ mode, while Bleeding Knees Club will play their final Aussie shows before heading overseas to the UK and USA.
Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will each host one gig, with locations to be announced 24 hours prior to each show via Facebook; IOHYOU have promised that “venues in each city are in the CBD and 200 capacity,” and with a pricetag of just $10 each, they’re sure to be hot tickets. Each show will be bolstered by a lineup of locals in each city, with John Steel Singers, The Holidays and Northeast Party House jumping behind the decks for DJ sets, and Sures, Ships Piano and other playing live.
Keep an eye on IOHYOU’s Facebook page for more details!
