For anyone intrigued by the world of fashion models, the popular blog COACD Confessions of a Casting Director, is live streaming their NY SS 2011 show castings all this week. Whereas I don’t want to ruin the movie as such, this will no doubt involve a myriad of models walking an imaginary line and mundane questions including ‘Where are you from’, ‘How long are you here for?’, ‘Who have you worked for?’ I guess the beauty of this is:

1. The models can’t really lie, they don’t know who’s watching.

2. We can see what the all powerful Casting Director really thinks. Yes, we saw you roll your eyes at that duck walk!

Unfortunately it streams from 9am to 6pm NY time (11pm to 8am Sydney time) meaning you’d have to pull an all-nighter to tune in. We doubt the ‘casting couch’ storyline will unfold though; it’s not that kind of late night movie.
