While there was no holding back the catty remarks about Rihanna’s style in this month’s issue of Spin – “People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna’s wearing fucking leather jackets, and it’s really annoying” – the comments were the last thing on her mind as she performed a mash-up of Eminem ft Rihanna’s “Love The Way You Lie” and The xx’s “Islands” on BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge.

We’re not sure how being hypocritical works to enhance her cool girl image, but the Pretty Reckless video below confirms one thing: Nickelback has got some serious competition.
