Out & About:

SULTAN’S TABLE

The Sultan’s Table provides some of the best Turkish food I have eaten in Sydney, in fact, Australia. Situated on Enmore Road’s busy food hub (obliquely opposite The Enmore Theatre) this gem of a dine-in and takeout restaurant is constantly groaning with hungry fans, anytime of the day or night. Introduced to me by a friend many years ago, I constantly go back (even in occasional round trip taxi’s when friends cannot be persuaded to drive) for the house-made dips, handmade turkish bread, warm pide, falafel, and extraordinarily delicious meat plate selections (the Iskender kebab is a favourite). It can be difficult to get a table some nights, but well worth the wait if you can stand it. Perfect for pre or post Enmore gigs.
