STEVE AOKI HAS HIS OWN FESTIVAL

That’s right, the man Steve Aoki is premiering a new two day festival in LA called  Pacific Festival OC along with guest host The Cobrasnake on September 4 & 5 at Triangle Square and Sutra, Costa Mesa, California.

The line up includes Steve Aoki, The Sounds, Miami Horror, Alan Braxe, Chiddy Bang, Classixx, Lifelike, CC Sheffield, Runaway, Justin Miller, Woolfy, Human Life, Cassette, Them Jeans, Cosmic Kids, HammerwolF, FiFiNasty, Kedd Cook, Brazzabelle, Bones, Morgan Collett, Lil Brandon, DJ Bob D, Sweatpants, Scorpion Breath, Kenya, C-Town, DJ Sanjay, DJ Miles, Dr. Schlongo, DJ DC, Rebelution, The Expendables, The Aggrolites and surprise guest performances creating a unique outdoor reggae experience.

The idea was to produce an event that connects culture with community; art with music; and entertainment with philanthropy in our backyard of Orange County,” Steve Aoki said.  “We wanted to establish a premium music and arts festival and have collected a seasoned group of event producers, artists, friends and musicians.”

Two Aussie acts made the bill: Sydney’s DJ Cassette was hand picked by Aoki along with Melbourne’s Miami Horror.

Cassette has played many local festivals such as Parklife, We Love Sounds, Splendour In The Grass, Playground Weekender, Stereosonic, Future Music Festival as well as supporting A-Trak, The Presets, Empire of the Sun, Claude VonStroke, DJ AM, The Crookers, Axwell and recently played New York Fashion week parties.
