Surfer Blood – Harmonix – Sydney.
For a guaranteed remedy to the winter blues: take one hammock, a glass of mint lemonade, and a copy of Astro Coast. Bask in the gloriously sunny sounds of Surfer Blood. Repeat.

    Jonsi -Sydney
When Brighton,UK company Fat Cat Records were introducing Sigur Ros to the industry, the band played in St Georges Church. I heard a murmur about this gig and caught the train from London to sit on the church wall with a sign “1 ticket desired”, ending up sneaking into the gig with the help of a dude whose girlfriend was working on the backstage door. I had to walk through the band room and over the stage to get in.. and speak in a Welsh accent if ever I was questioned.. an impossible mission, have you ever tried to speak Welsh? Jonsi’s voice and the bowed attack on the gibson resonated on the ancient timber beams of the church.. setting the path for industry acclaim

Jonsi – Animal Arithmetic – SYD
In Animal Arithmetic the line “riding bikes, making out”, it hasn’t happened for me yet, perhaps listening to Jonsi is like living in a euphoric fantasy. “We all want to go with the breeze, we will blow” (In Around Us), hopefully I’ll be at the same breeze that Jonsi carries us away on.

Jonsi – boy lilikoi – Melbourne

The album Go is such an emotional and melodic album and I think with a stage show produced by 59 productions its going to be something more than just your normal live show, something you just have to see.

    kate nash – foundations. SYD

How does she make a tale of a relationship-turned-sour sound so chipper and bittersweet at the same time? A mixture of whimsical melodies and witty lyricisms makes this an unbeatably catchy tune.

SURFER BLOOD – FLOATING VIBES – SYDNEY

feels like a full double rainbow

I love Jonsi’s Go Do the most. It’s really just the happiest song on my iPod and I always seem to do the stupidest dance moves to the opening drum beat. (For Sydney show)

    Jonsi-Animal Arithmetic – Sydney
Cause who doesn’t love icelandic melodic genius, involving fauna and maths, pretty much inspired work
