Playground Weekender 2012 will alter it’s original lay out with the Big Top moving closer to the main stage and on the big grass space left will be a la carte restaurants and food offerings, yoga, late night cinema, a beer garden and more to follow very soon. Much loved stages ‘Permission to Shine Cabaret’ stage, and the ultimate Club Tropicana Pool Party along with roving entertainers and giant sized board games are all still there for our summery enjoyment.
And, no Playground Weekender is complete without ‘Fancy Dress Saturday’ – for those that have not been before, let us tell you, if you are not dressed up, you will literally be the only one. And no half arsed stick on moustaches thinking that will do – we are talking all out costume/make up efforts. For the annual Fancy Dress catwalk show the one and only Cuban Brothers will be the hosts.
Happening March 2, 3, and 4 2012 at the Del Rio Riverside Resort in Wiseman’s Ferry, Playground Weekender is without a doubt one of the most unique and imaginative boutique festies on the calendar. For more info go to their website. Read our review of last years Playground Weekender here.
