Fashion Out & About

Sydney may not have its own Sartorialist, but that doesn’t mean that we lack street style. This coming Saturday, William Street Laneway Festival hits the Paddington precinct and, to celebrate, pages and The Corner Shop want you to put the gladdest of your glad rags on. But, other than admiring glances from the chic sorts that usually frequent Paddo, what’s in it for you? If the glory of being crowned William Street’s most fashionable isn’t quite enough to tempt you, there’s also a $500 gift voucher courtesy of The Corner Shop for you to spend on any designer delights you desire! Add to this nibbles, bubbles and a styling session with the pages fashion team at the best boutique this side of… well… anywhere, and you’ve got the kind of prize that’s worth getting dressed up to the nines for.

So, how do you enter? Simply  stalk the streets this Saturday at William Street Laneway Festival in the kind of gear worthy of Garance Doré’s inimitable lens. The pages team will be tracking down the best fest fashion with a photographer in tow, with our picks to be showcased on the site. If you get snapped, stick around until 3pm when we will judge the victor and SHOWER THEM IN THE AFOREMENTIONED RICHES. A giant novelty cheque may or may not be on the cards.

Of course, even if you’re looking smoking but don’t quite manage to nab the major prize (let’s face it, the competition will be fierce), you can still hit the pages x The Corner Shop courtyard party from 11am, where you can mingle with some of our favourite Australian designers, try on some amazing clothes and even get a few refreshments into you!

So start getting those sartorial masterpieces ready for Saturday’s William Street Laneway Festival. With a schedule chock full of yummy food, fun, fashion and $500 from The Corner Shop up for grabs, missing it would be one of life’s more significant tragedies. Fingers crossed you get your hands on one of these babies!
