Stacy Martin is one of those effortlessly beautiful girls who looks just as amazing without a skerrick of makeup. She also bears an uncanny resemblance to Lou Doillon, daughter of Jane Birkin, having been mistaken for her on several occasions. It could be that both have French and English heritage, proving the perfect combination in the gene pool. Stacy shot for pages Issue 89 and is our new favourite international model to hit Australia.

Where are you and what are you doing today? “I am at Thoroughbred Motel shooting with Pierre Toussaint.”

Where were you born and where do you live now? “I was born in Paris and I live in London.”

What’s your earliest memory? “Having chicken pox.”

Are you a lover or a fighter? “Both.”

What have you been up to lately in your spare time, in modelling and at school/work? “I graduated in July so I’ve had more time to travel and work. I’ve been wanting to learn how to play drums so that’s my new project.”

Who’s your favourite photographer or stylist to work with and what’s so special about them? “My favorite photographer would have to be Steven Miesel. He manages to capture fashion in a pure and magical way that can rarely be done by other people. I haven’t had the chance to work with him yet, but hopefully my guardian angel will be reading this. Hello?”

What do you wear around the house, out to dinner and in your dreams? “In the house I like to wear slouchy clothes, my boyfriend’s t-shirts and jeans. For dinner it depends where, but usually the same with red lipstick. In my dreams I wear Alexander McQueen.”
