Where are you and what are you doing today?
At the moment I am sitting on my family’s lounge whilst my parents unpack boxes. We are moving into our newly renovated house today! This morning I caught a bus into the city because I had a casting. It was my second casting ever and I hope there are many more to come! My friends should be over soon as we have our Year Ten formal tonight!

How did your modelling career kick off?
Right at the start of the year I entered the Dolly and Girlfriend magazine cover girl competition. Sadly I wasn’t a finalist, however, I was given an opportunity from Girlfriend to do a fashion spread. It was in the September issue, and from there Dolly has also asked me to participate in a fashion spread. I am now with Priscillas Model Management and I look forward to what is to come.

Where were you born?
I was born in Sydney, Australia.

Where are you based now?
I am based in Sydney.

Tell us about your last job.
A couple of days ago I did a shoot with Nicole Cooper and Andrew from Studio Alte. It was heaps of fun, I learned a lot and the clothes were very nice. It took a couple of hours in an Inner-West Sydney studio. But I also had a part-time job at McDonalds which I quit last week as I had been there for almost two years and I wanted to stay focused on other things.

Who’s your favourite photographer or stylist to work with and why?
Nicole Cooper and Andrew from Studio Alte were my favourite photographers to work with. They taught me different ways to pose, they made me feel very comfortable and they styled the photographs very well! I loved it!

What do you enjoy doing in your downtime?
I enjoy online shopping, talking to my friends on Facebook and just watching TV. X-factor Australia, Big Brother, America and Australia’s Next Top Model and Beauty and the Geek are my favourite shows to watch throughout the week. During winter I also play soccer and have played with the same girls for six years.

How would you describe your day-to-day style?
Very casual, I like to be comfortable in what I am wearing. My favourite clothing items are my denim shorts, I live in them!

If you weren’t modelling, what do you think you’d be doing?
I would just be doing my school work day-in and day-out, but I think it’s good to have a balance of modelling, school and friends and family.

Do you have any favourite fashion magazines or blogs?
I am subscribed to Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. I love Nicole Cooper’s blog, and Hanneli Mustarparta’s blog. I also really like Russh and Frankie.

What are your aspirations for the future?
I would love to be a successful model! I would love to go to University once I finish school as well. If modelling doesn’t work out then I have always wanted to pursue a career as a primary school teacher.
