Any designers you’ve seen so far that you’d like to collaborate with since you’ve been here?

“Yeah, we’ve looked at a few designers so far. We saw Ginger and Smart, Alex Perry, Jayson Brundson, and we just came from Louis Han’s show, and there’s definitely a sort of long shortlist of designers that we are considering perhaps doing a local initiative and partnering with them to do something – whether it’s a limited quantity of Barbies. We’re still putting the program together, so there’s a lot of excitement and I think based on the designers that we have seen, I can already visualise in my head what it could look like. It just is then a question of looking at all of them and not making any rash decisions and then seeing what will make the best story and how it is going to work out.”
