Alyssa Sutherland has been one of the biggest model exports Australia has seen. Her feline beauty has been seen gracing the pages of magazines worldwide. This year Alyssa is representing Rosemount in the front row as their fashion ambassador for the week. This basically means she gets to attend all the best shows, wearing the best clothes straight from the runway! Oh the life. We caught up with Alyssa in the Rosemount wine bar to hear a bit about her week so far.

What are you looking forward to for the week, shows wise?

“I am looking forward to Alex Perry tonight, as there has been a lot of buzz about how big it’s going to be.”

Yes I heard about a thousand people!

“YES! That number keeps growing every time I speak to people! It has grown from forty, to a thousand!

That’s crazy! Well that will be good. Any other shows?

“Well, I’m also looking forward to Anthony Capon. [from A.Concept] I’m interested to see what he comes up with after so much buzz around him. I’m walking in Jayson Brunsdon’s show, that’s really beautiful. I’ve seen the clothes already at the fitting and it’s going to be lovely.”

What about the shows you saw yesterday? Anything notable?

“I loved Ginger & Smart, I thought it was beautiful. In particular they had a silvery trench coat that I thought was really cool. I love a good trench coat, and they put a bit of a twist on it.”

So you have some great clothes this week. Tell us what you’re wearing today.

“Well I have some Ginger & Smart on today actually! I also have some Louis Vuitton shoes, which are pretty amazing, and Mania Mania jewellery.”

Any fun parties on tomorrow night?

“Well the Jayson Brunsdon show will take up most of the night, with a pre show get together, and then Jayson and I are crossing live to channel 7 afterwards, which will be fun!”

Yes, we will have to stay tuned! Are you walking in any other shows this week?

“Yes, I walked in Lisa Ho yesterday which was beautiful.”
