NO MORE REGURGITATOR RECORDS

Regurgitator frontman Quan Yeomans has warned fans not to expect any more records from the Australian four-piece.

“Albums are just too unwieldy creatively speaking,” he wrote in a blog post for triple j’s Home & Hosed. “Why wait till you have 10 to 20 songs to release the little fucks. By the end of the process you hate 1-5 and you’re starting to doubt the relevance of 5-10.

“It’s just too much pointless pressure to follow an out of date paradigm.”

Instead Yeomans says the group will release AIFF or WAV versions of new tracks online as they’re completed.

“Before tours we’ll do limited pressings of vinyl and/or CD compilations of the new tracks that we’ve released over the previous months with original artwork/merch that fans can buy at shows or online if they choose to support us in this way.”
