Piles of new music, videos and more happening overnight, let’s take a look.

Pnau vs Elton John, ‘Sad’
A collab between the iconic Elton John and Aussie electropop guys Pnau has been rumoured for some time, but we’ve finally got the first taste of the unlikely teaming. ‘Sad’ is the first single of their collaborative album, which – according to the below video – is titled “Elton John vs Pnau – Good Morning To The Night” and will be released July 16. You can get more info on it here, or just take a listen to ‘Sad’ below.

Tame Impala, ‘Lonerism’
While Tame Impala have been off conquering the world, they’ve apparently found some time to pen some new tunes. Or, at least, they’re seemingly releasing a new album. The Perth psych-rockers dropped this trippy trailer – featuring a reverb-heavy sample of a new tune – for something called ‘Lonerism’ late last night, and while there’s no release date, the follow-up to their brilliant debut ‘Innerspeaker’ is expected sometime this year.

Best Coast, ‘Rhiannon’ (Fleetwood Mac cover)
Best Coast have shared their cover of the classic Fleetwood Mac track ‘Rhiannon.’ It’s from a whole tribute album to Fleetwood Mac, titled ‘Just Tell Me That You Want Me,’ which also features The Kills, MGMT and Lykke Li.

Lady Gaga, ‘Princess Die’
At her Melbourne concert last night, Lady Gaga shared a brand new song called ‘Princess Die.’ Check out a fan-shot video, featuring Gaga on a motorbike/keyboard hybrid thing, below.

The Darkness, ‘Everybody Have A Good Time’
The Darkness will release new album ‘Hot Cakes’ in August, and have shared the first single from it. Titled ‘Everybody Have A Good Time,’ you can see a preview of the video (to be released tomorrow) and hear a snippet of the song below.
