Melbourne trio My Disco are set to release their third album ‘Little Joy’ this October.
Made up of Liam Andrews on bass and vocals, brother Ben Andrews on guitar, and friend Rohan Rebeiro on drums, My Disco are responsible for the minimalist of minimalist post punk. The new album was produced by Steve Albini (Joanna Newsom) and mixed by BJB’s Scott Horscroft, (Silverchair/The Temper Trap) and they’re taken a rather dark tribal turn (ahem) with the first single ‘Turn’.
Easeing off on the harder elements of their sound, it’s actually my favourite My Disco track to date.
