Mia Wasikowska can do no wrong. The 21 year old actress from Canberra has had a string of successful films from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Oscar nominated The Kids are All Right, Gus Van Sant’s Restless and the upcoming remake of Jane Eyre.

It seems when it comes to fashion magazines, she is a top cover girl contender this month. Firstly the new issue of luxury bi-annual AnOther placed Mia on one of it’s four covers celebrating the world’s best new actresses, then last week she appeared as Twiggy on the cover of The Black Book.

Now the influential W magazine has its April issue on newsstands, and guess who it features? Wearing white with a Gaga style mask, shot by Jean Baptiste Mondino is our favourite actress. It seems the quirky and amazingly talented Wasikowska is the girl of the minute.

Sticking to his ‘celebrity only’ cover vision, editor Stefano Tonchi has placed her amongst Hollywood’s finest as a W cover star. Compared to the Hollwood cookie cutter celebs, Mia is a breath of fresh Eyre!
