A month or so ago Groupie and Olympus put the call out for all the budding and aspiring photographers out there to become the official Groupie Magazine gig photographer for a series of eight of the hottest gigs happening around town, and last week we crowned the winner!

We were really impressed by Jade Cantwell’s talent and passion for photography and think she’ll go far. She has since been hard at work, with mentoring classes and interviews with the Groupie team, and is ready to shoot some awesome shots of Decoder Ring tomorrow night in Sydney. Jade will be using the brand new Olympus PEN camera – a historic model which changed photography when it first hit the market in 1959, you can find out more about it here.
