Brooklyn noise merchants, Sleigh Bells, have released another teaser single from their soon-to-be-released album, ‘Reign of Terror.’

Titled ‘Comeback Kid,’ it is billed as the first “proper” single from the band’s upcoming second LP. It follows ‘Born To Lose,’ the first taste of the band’s new material.

The single is available for streaming through the band’s Soundcloud page (see below), or as a free download when pre-ordering ‘Reign of Terror’ from iTunes.

In recent interviews, guitarist Derek Miller said ‘Comeback Kid’ was his favourite track on the new album. The band have also described ‘Reign of Terror’ as “emotionally really heavy,” saying that “Some of the stuff on ‘Treats’ is party music and that’s definitely not the case with [‘Reign of Terror’].”

But for fans worried that the band are shedding their enormous, ear-shredding sound, frontwoman Alexis said that their new work would be “immense,” describing it as like a “punch in the face,” and promised it would be just as loud as last year’s breakout album ‘Treats.’

Earlier in the year, Sleigh Bells spent some time in the studio with Beyonce and Diplo, but nothing from that collaboration has seen the light of day… yet.
