Have you ever wanted to combine your love of gawking at otters, lizards, lemurs and those weird furry anteater things with your love of attending concerts?
No, it had never occurred to me either… but that doesn’t mean it’s not a super idea. And the good folks over at Illusive are making a peculiar bunch of people’s dreams come true by facilitating Sound Safari, a completely unique series of concerts taking place in the picturesque surrounds of, yes, the Melbourne Zoo!
The first ever Safari goes down on February 26, and Simon & Garfunkel sadly will not be making an appearance. However, the event will be more than safe in the hands of headliner and the American hip-hop prodigy Lupe Fiasco, plus ample support from such acts as Phrase, Lowrider and Space Invadas – not to mention the 320+ species on view. Tickets are available from here, but we just so happen to have a pair of double passes to give away: Just tell us which animal is your favourite and why in 25 words or less, and you could score yourself an awesome day out at the zoo with Lupe!
