Get it together, Lana Del Rey! Having been named GQ‘s Woman Of The Year a couple of weeks ago, and subsequently appearing in the buff on the magazine’s cover (ostentatious diamonds notwithstanding), the woman who brought us such earworms as ‘Blue Jeans’ has now put her gear back on for H&M. As the new much-hyped face of the Swedish mega brand, we’ve been drip fed the chanetuse’s efforts since way back in July when the first images of Del Rey in a marshmallowy sweater hit the internet.
Now, it’s time for the video accompaniment to Del Rey’s campaign. The aforementioned sugary sweater again takes centre stage, with the singer crooning along to the 1950s classic ‘Blue Velvet’. Also along for the ride are a strikingly beautiful set of triplets, a height-challenged individual in a hat and a hypnotist (no doubt trying to get dear Lana out of her clothes again). All things said, it’s got David Lynch scrawled all over it. Maybe Lana’s hiding a gun in that huge hair?
