Kristen McMenamy is having a career re-incarnation. Like many of the old ‘supers’, it seems her services are in demand once more in the world of high fashion. The last year has been huge for the older model, seeing the return of Linda, Elle, Cindy, Stephanie Semour, Christy Turlington and even more recently, Yasmin Le Bon here at RAFW for Little Joe. Marc Jacobs was at the forefront of this revival, booking nearly everyone for the Louis Vuitton show last year. Now it is Kristen McMenamy’s turn to be the comeback kid.

After a stellar career during the late 80s/early 90s, she was made famous due to her androgynous and unconventional looks. After marrying photographer Miles Aldridge, McMenamy took some time out to have children. Now at 45 she is back in full force, having just walked in the Chanel Resort collection, in a swimsuit no less. She also graces the cover of the latest issue of i-D, and has recently been the face of Lanvin and again in swimsuits for Vogue Italia, not to mention walking for Calvin Klein and Viktor & Rolf!
