Kings of Leon have been forced to postpone their Australian and South African tour, in order for drummer Nathan Followill to recover from surgery.

Suffering from a torn right labrum and bicep, Nathan has issued the following statement to dejected fans:

“Sorry to all the fans in Australia and South Africa. My bum wing needs more time to heal but we’ll be back later this year. Sorry again”.

The Frontier Touring Company have advised punters to hold onto their tickets until a new itinerary is issued. At this stage, the Tennessee rockers are slated to make a November return to our shores.
