We are loving the trend of using ‘older’ models in advertising campaigns. It has really been the month for these inspiring women, first the American Apparel campaign featuring Jacky with the endless legs, and then it was the amazing 82 year old in the latest Lanvin campaign. Now Isabella Rossellini is having a renaissance as the star of Bulgari AW1213, as shot by Annie Leibovitz. She doesn’t look a day over 30!

In salute to Rossellini we decided to look back at some of her younger photos, to prove she really hasn’t aged that much. It helps that she has the good genes of Swedish mother and actress, Ingrid Bergman. It seems hotness really runs in the family. Daughter Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann is also a model, but strangely enough both mother and daughter suffered from near crippling scoliosis.  Elettra had to wear a back brace 23 hours per day from when she was 12 until 17. Rossellini didn’t start modelling until the age of 40, proving that starting young is not always the only way. She went on to be the face of Lancome from 1982-1996.

Here are the three generations of Bergman/Rossellini women. Pretty amazing, huh?
