Ricardo Tisci is never one to go with the grain. In fact quite the opposite. In his five years at the helm of super fashionable Givenchy, Tisci has gone down the darker route, with more religious symbolism than we could poke a crucifix at. This collection was no different, with contrasting reds, whites and blacks making a powerful statement. In keeping with previous outings, this year the unisex catwalk was back. It was only natural for this to flow through to the print campaign, again featuring an epic cast of top models and muses. Mariacarla, of course is the standout, along with “The Bogan from Logan” Catherine McNeill. This time a wild card has also been introduced, in the form of transexual Lea T, long time friend to Tisci and former fit model. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Paris, we personally love the campaign, the colours, and everything it personifies.
