Canadian indie-rock duo Japandroids have unleashed their second album, ‘Celebration Rock,’ and it’s pretty much amazing. Eight songs, 35 minutes, and some of the most upbeat, fun garage-rock you’ll likely hear all year. Sitting somewhere between the dirty rock’n’roll of The Black Keys, and the pop-infused summery jams of Wavves, ‘Celebration Rock’ lives up to its title; it’s music for a party, full of anthems about youth, drinking, late nights and regretful mornings. Despite being out for less than a month, the album has already been topping “best of 2012” lists from the likes of Pitchfork and Stereogum; and we’ve got FIVE copies of the deluxe version of awesome new album (featuring SEVEN bonus tracks) to giveaway!
