The mood for the show was set with a jaggered mirror installation by second time collaborator Tim Richardson. As usual, the models were androgynous and had pulled back wet look hair and barely there makeup. The actual collection was a departure from the usual for designer Ben Pollitt, with the absence of a strong digital print a slight disappointment for lovers of the brand.
Instead, we saw graphic black and white, with signature leather pieces and unisex capes. Triangular motifs featured in figure hugging white pants, as well as sporty looking bra tops and low slung shorts. It will be interesting to see this collection up close, as the packed show space didn’t allow for much detail to be seen.
