FLANNEL

In one of the most crowded shows so far, Flannel impressed with a lesson in effortless style. Models in pistachio heeled brogues, breezed by in classic looks – a white shirt, beige cropped pants, loose dresses tied with belts – classic looks that still managed to convey a cool modernity.

It was the wardrobe of a contemporary Australian woman with light fabrics, modest cuts and soft colours of sky blues, oatmeal and creamy whites. All be it with the fun of a cheeky Najavo holiday, camel fringed jackets with long swinging tassels worn with nothing much underneath. Buttery caramel leather garments in shorts, dresses and pants were also well received, as made with obvious quality, they would make a sound investment.
