Guns N Roses legend Slash is just about to release his latest solo album, ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ and has just announced an Australian tour for later this year. To celebrate, the artist formerly known as Saul Hudson has dropped a brand new clip for single ‘You’re A Lie.’ Check it below.

Death Grips, ‘Hustle Bones’
Californian nutjobs Death Grips have dropped another video from new album, ‘The Money Store.’ The below video is for ‘Hustle Bones,’ and really gives a new meaning to the term “money laundering.”

The Rubens, ‘Don’t Ever Want To Be Found’
The new video from The Rubens looks like it was shot on Super 8 film, giving a vintage, classic quality to the fuzzy retro-rock sound that the band have made their own. Watch the band running through suburban streets and backyards, jump off stuff, swim around and generally be rascals.

Kindness, ‘House’
Check this cute new video from Vivid-bound UK musician, Kindness. It’s for a track called ‘House,’ and while the music itself doesn’t actually start until around 3.50, it’s a nice opening few minutes where Adam Bainbridge talks about pop music, and teaches a kid how to use a drum machine.

Make Do And Mend, ‘Lucky’
Massachusetts punk rockers Make Do And Mend have shared ‘Lucky,’ the first taste of their upcoming second album ‘Everything You Ever Loved.’ Intertwining indie rock elements with a gruffer, faster post-hardcore, it’s a pretty interesting listen. The album is out June 18.

Entitled Edo Tropicana, the latest offering from Diaz captures the vibrancy that latter-day explorers would have experienced upon first setting foot on the lush isles of Hawaii. Hawaiian prints are big news this season, and designer Ana Diaz has approached them with cartoonish enthusiasm. The key motif is a juicy looking pineapple— the kind that would fit perfectly into a Golden Circle commercial.

In an array of richly saturated brights, the collection takes easy, breezy key shapes and injects them with personality in the form of luxury fabrics, such as silk and organic cotton, and quirky detailing. Culottes are belted with rope drawstrings and hand stitching adds a homespun touch. There is a retro Tropicana feel to boxy button-ups and A-line dresses. Diaz will ensure that, for your wardrobe at least, it will be a very yummy summer indeed.

The Jezabels, ‘City Girl’
Just ahead of their massive arena tour with Lights and Snakadaktal, The Jezabels have dropped yet another video clip and single from their acclaimed debut album, ‘Prisoner.’ A grainy, hazy clip reminiscent of a home video, it’s a tale of a girl lost in the city.

Jonathan Boulet, ‘This Song Is Called Ragged’
Jono Boulet is gearing up to release his long-awaited second album, ‘We Keep The Beat, Found The Sound, See The Need, Start The Heart.’ He’s just released a live version of ‘This Song Is Called Ragged,’ the second single from the album. ‘We Keep The Beat…’ drops in June.

Kirin J Callinan, ‘W II W’
Everybody’s been talking about it, so here it is. The incredible (and, frankly, rather disturbing) clip from Sydney electronic artist, Kirin J Callinan, for ‘W II W.’ Taken from Callinan’s upcoming album, it’s not overtly shocking in any real way – but the repetitive, shuddering GIF-like imagery combined with the droning dirge of the track make this really quite unsettling… and kinda amazing.

The Death Set, ‘Is This The End?’
Finally for part 1 of today’s video compilation, The Death Set with ‘Is This The End?’ Whether it’s frame-dropping, or comprised of some crazy amount of still photos, we’re not sure – but it’s cool. Check it out below!

The video is directed by Hiro Murai and features lead singer Samantha Urbani as a Big Brother figure in this look at a ‘mind controlled’ future.

Friends, consisting of Samantha Urbani (vocals), Lesley Hann (bass, percussion, backing vocals), Nikki Shapiro (guitar, keyboards, percussion), Matthew Molnar (keyboards, percussion, bass), Oliver Duncan (drums), were named after Brian Wilson’s favourite Beach Boys album and play the kind of indie-pop Brooklyn has become known for. Hailing from Bushwick, Brooklyn (which is the new Williamsburg apparently) the band set off a bidding war for their debut album after a SXSW performance last year and also took to the Coachella stage this year.

Well, let’s just say that I imagine Carine’s grandchild is probably swaddled in monogrammed Louis Vuitton cashmere right now.

Harper’s Bazaar editor at large Derek Blasberg broke the big news earlier today on Twitter, stating, “Congratulations to proud Momma @RestoinRJulia! (And thus the chicest grannie ever: Carine Roitfeld) Cant wait to meet the beautiful baby!” No word yet on Blasberg’s postnatal present for the newly-minted human being, but we like to imagine that it will be something very expensive and very French. Dare we suggest BABY’S FIRST CARTIER?!

While the birth of any child is a glorious thing, we have to admit that there is one downside to the whole situation. While the fetishisation of ladies with a bun in the oven is a little bit creepy, we will certainly miss seeing Julia scantily clad with baby belly out and proud. If there was ever a picture to convince ladies the world over that they should get knocked up ASAP, this is definitely it.

Don’t stress, Julia. There’s absolutely no rush to get back to your pre-baby body.

The resulting shoot features a supposedly wasted Cruise, hanging out in a lush hotel room with his groupies, the aptly cast Abbey Lee Kershaw and Edita Vilkeviciute. They appear in various states of undress, lounging around on velvet sofas and silver sheets. We can only imagine what Katie Holme’s thinks of her 50 year old husband’s involvement with these smokin’ ladies. We must say though, for 50 Cruise is looking pretty cut. After seeing these images the first thing we could think of was immediately knowing what the ever-hating Suri Cruise thought. Suri’s Burn Book is the revealer of all great knowledge – you can read her response here. We couldn’t agree more.

The track is from an upcoming new mixtape which will also feature April’s ‘Eat Your Vegetables’ and ‘We Aint’ Them’ – which he released to the world after a lengthy rant on his Twitter towards his haters; “ I  think a lot people think I’m just doing shit to do shit. In a way, that’s true. But I like making things. I wanna do things well. I’m learning music theory, and taking lessons. Learning languages so I can write in other languages. I love making stuff. I really do.”

Unabashedly feminine, McCall, as always, manages to effortlessly blend girlish playfulness with a womanly sophistication. Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s nineteenth century short narrative, The Sphinx Without a Secret, illustrated by Charles Rickets in lush Art Nouveau style, the style is evident in both flowing forms and intricate prints. Soft draping is seen across the spectrum. Sharper silhouettes are relaxed with the unique floral embroidery that so defines McCall. The prints, too, tell a story. Architectural forms are lent a romanticism with the addition of creeping vines and flora.

While the sugary palette, predominantly in sweet mint, peach and lilac, is girly, a coquettish daring is evident in leg skimming lengths, thigh-high splits and cheeky cutaways. With wearable whimsy by the bucketload, the real riddle is when can we get our hands on it?

Playing at Chat’s Palace, described as a “seldom-used converted chapel” in East London, the British enigmas played a 13-song set, including six new tracks. You can hear a few (admittedly, poor quality) new tracks below.

Reviews of the intimate shows have stated that the influence of Jamie xx is stronger than ever, with a heightened reliance on electronics and electronic drums. This ties in with his statement that “club music has definitely had an influence on [the album].” As for a release date? Still no solid word, but the band have previously said that it would be finished “in time for most festivals next year,” referring to the English summer season; our winter. So, fingers crossed, it’s not too far off!

It is common knowledge that the title has been underperforming for some time, and we are the only country where Harper’s Bazaar outsells Vogue month in, month out. Obviously Rupert Murdoch would be none too pleased with this fact, but surely firing the editor is a major decision.

A new editor is on its way to Vogue – Edwina McCann, former editor of Harper’s Bazaar. This means major changes to all staff within both titles and we can only imagine the musical chairs that are about to happen. Stay tuned!

The collection, entitled Circadian Rhythms, captures the easygoing hedonism of the seventies in all their bohemian glory. Think an earthy medley of cotton, crochet and organic textures like leather and suede.

The project of designer Leaha Lockley, All That Remains’ latest is a summery seventies fantasy. Relaxed kimono jackets and airy trousers, midriff vests and embroidered high-waisted hot shorts. Just add a jug of homemade lemonade and a killer soundtrack and you’re good to go.

The leather pieces are all completely cool and original with different tie-dye techniques used, as well as hibiscus printed black and gold additions. Throw in a matching cap, and boom, you’ve got the look. Elastic ruching on the sides of garments adds a graphic element, along with being the structural element at play. Neon orange lace is Christopher Kane brought to the masses, but the versatile shape will appeal to a broader customer range, as will the price point, obviously. We’re not saying this collection is revolutionary, but it’s a clever and cohesive set of clothes, which is more than we can say for a lot of collections we’ve seen lately. It’s easy to wear and cheap and cheerful. At the end of the day, fashion is a business and people need to wear clothes. We only wish Shakuhachi had taken to the MBFWA runways – this little collection could have been styled to fun perfection and would have provided some light relief, much as Alice McCall did. Oh well, next time!

A new track from the CD, ‘Henrietta,’ has emerged online. Presumably, it is from the band’s upcoming album, the follow-up to 2010′s excellent ‘Odd Blood.’ Yeasayer have not confirmed the existence of the track, but after Tweeting ‘HNRTTA’ yesterday, it’s a fair bet that this one is legit.

With her commanding voice and super slick wardrobe, we think Guinness would make quite the rock’n’roll frontwoman.  Perhaps she should pursue her musical dreams and audition for The Voice? We’d like to think she’d be on Team Keith.

Shot by man of many talents Karl Lagerfeld and styled by the equally gifted Carine Roitfeld (the ultimate sartorial dream team), the campaign has the distinct flavour of the Mysterious East. An opulent mélange of layered silks and heavy wools  in the form of tunics and trousers add to the hippie-luxe feel. Bouclé is bejeweled within an inch of its life and Strokous pulls shapes in a veritable treasure trove of India-inspired bijoux. Perhaps Roitfeld’s styling was influenced by Hedi Slimane’s April 2012 cover for Dazed & Confused, featuring Canadian music artist Grimes?

One thing’s for sure— inebriated dancing almost looks dignified in Chanel.

Reuters reports that Islamic groups in the country have voiced strong opposition to her appearance next month, and have succeeded in banning ‘Mother Monster’ from Indonesia.

“She’s a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings and she stated she is the envoy of the devil’s child and that she will spread satanic teaching,” said Salim Alatas, the Jakarta head of hardline Islamic Defender Front (FPI), before adding that the singer is “dangerous.”

30,000 tickets had already been sold for the Jakarta concert.
