After revealing the first installment of artists for this year’s event, which included Arctic Monkeys, Fleet Foxes and The Jezabels, The Falls Music & Arts Festival have just thrown some more names into the mix, making for one assorted bag of treats!

Canadian electronic duo Crystal Castles will be making the sojourn down under for their debut Falls Festival appearance this New Years. Joining them on the now iconic Falls stage will be founding fathers of indie rock, J Mascis, London turntablist DJ Yoda, and New Zealand buzz band Unknown Mortal Orchestra. For the local contingent, Josh Pyke and Papa Vs Pretty have also been added.

So, the rather eclectic lineup so far reads something like:
Arctic Monkeys, Arj Barker, Crystal Castles, Easy Star All Stars (performing Dub Side of the Moon in full), Fleet Foxes, J Mascis, Josh Pyke, Papa Vs Pretty, The Jezabels, The Wonderful World of DJ Yoda, Tim Finn, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and many more to be announced.

The Falls Music & Arts Festival is happening at its usual dates and venues: Marion Bay, Tasmania from December 29- January 1, and Lorne, Victoria from December 28 – January 1.
