American actress Hailee Steinfeld may be just fourteen, but already she is an Academy Award nominee.

She was nominated based upon her riveting portrayal of Mattie Ross in 2010′s True Grit — an American Western film written and directed by the Coen brothers.

Now, the young actress has scored her next leading role, though it’s not in a Hollywood film this time.

The baby-faced wunderkind will next appear in a Miu Miu campaign, following in the footsteps of celebrity faces like Kirsten Dunst, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Lindsay Lohan.

She will in fact be the youngest face to be shot by the brand, followed closely behind by model of the moment Lindsay Wixson, who appeared in Miu Miu’s SS10 campaign at the age of fifteen.

If those actresses’ career trajectories (and Wixson’s) are anything to go by, Steinfeld has a very bright future in the worlds of cinema and fashion. Stay tuned.
