In a simply beautiful start to the AW1213 collections Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux created a bold and coveted look for the Derek Lam show. Introducing the new Invisible Fluid Makeup (launching May 2012) he created an invisible matte skin, which he teamed with subtly defined cheeks, pink-beige tinted lips and a sexy cat eye in a smoky-burgundy shade and a flick of drawn-on lower lashes.

To create the look Tom applied products from Estee Lauders upcoming autumn trend collection on over 30 models, including the famed faces of Estee Lauder Liu Wen and Joan Smalls. “The French have a saying for this look, ‘Un peu décalé,’ inspired by a woman who has a unique way about her. Unexpected. Intriguing. Different from all the rest. She is youthful and innocent, yet far from immature,” said Tom of the look. If this is a taste of what is to come over the next month, then we are in for a stunning season of makeup.
