Damn, it must be tough times for festival promoters this year, as Days Like This! Festival announced it is taking a break for January 2011, not long after Homebake announced the same news.

Launched in January 2009, DLT was the ‘thinking mans’ festival with established artists on the bill such as Public Enemy, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Method Man and Cat Power, as well as offering gourmet food to the masses rather than the usual deep fried hotdogs on a stick. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for hot dogs on sticks but geez those things really smell bad.
