Rap meets indie meets rock on this new reconstruct of Cold War Kids’ ‘Mine Is Yours’ by Blended Babies and Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids.

Before you ask ‘who the hell’s Michael Rocks and what’s he done with Mikey Rocks?’ it would appear that, unlike his urban counterparts (J-Lo, P-Diddy), Mikey has opted to elongate his name and preface it with a ‘Sir’ for added reverence. He’ll tell you all about it on the track (below).

Chicago’s Blended Babies  have remixed Cold War Kids’ poignant love number, giving it a rap makeover with some tribal percussive back beats, while one half of The Cool Kids gives his lyrical take on the heartrending theme of the track, and does a dam fine job of it if you ask us.
