The Grates are embroiled in a conflict with a corporate giant over the alleged theft of one of their songs… with a much-loved breakfast cereal caught in the middle.

Weet-Bix are accused of pinching the tune from The Grates’ 2008 tune ‘Aw Yeah’ for a recent New Zealand commercial (see below for a video/audio comparison of the two tunes). Granted, the Weet-Bix tune is pretty similar to The Grates’ original.
