JAGERMEISTER HUNTING LODGE TO POP UP AT SYDNEY FESTIVAL

The Jägermeister Hunting Lodge will enjoy its first official pop up of the New Year at the 2012 Sydney Festival.

First unveiled at this year’s Splendour In The Grass, The Hunting Lodge represents the history of Jägermeister, (the word actually means ‘hunt master’) made with real wooden logs, retro furniture, a large wooden deck, and of course, a bar (and a 12 metre one at that!). TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS POSTPONE TOUR

In news that is sure to disappoint many, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs have announced they will be postponing their upcoming Australian tour dates, including their performances at Field Day and Falls Festival, due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Organisers of the Falls Festival issued a statement today revealing the news, however no further details have been provided by the band as yet.

BIG DAY OUT PERTH ANNOUNCES VENUE CHANGE

Yet another new announcement is in from organisers of the Big Day Out – this time, a new venue has been named for the Perth event after it revealed a down-scaling in size and artists due to ticket sales.

FALLS FESTIVAL MARION BAY SOLD OUT

The Lorne leg sold out in 1.5 hours; and now tickets to the Marion Bay Falls Festival have been completey snapped up too, meaning the entire 2011/12 Falls Festival is 100% sold out.

FIELD DAY SET TIMES RELEASED

The playing times are out for Sydney’s biggest New Year’s Day hangover buster. Playing the Centre Field Stage are Justice, debuting their brand new live show, plus Crystal Castles, Gotye, Example, with Calvin Harris and Moby playing earlier sets there, slated for a 1:40pm start.
