The latest handset added to the Boost Mobile offering is the cute little Samsung S3653. Groupie was given a copy this week to have a play with and check out. And play we did.
What we love about Boost Mobile is that they know who they are. They’re not trying to be everything to everyone; they know exactly who uses their phones, and what they’re after.
The Boost Mobile Touch is finally a smart phone that’s packaged like a real phone, not a mini computer. It’s actually designed... read more

Men take note – don’t ignore your woman! Aside from being a pretty adorable rom-com about the search for true love, ‘Letters to Juliet’ is also a cautionary tale of what will happen, men folk, if you do…
The film starts in NYC, where our heroine Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is flying to Verona with her fiancé and chef Victor (Gael Garcia Bernal). The holiday is a ‘pre-honeymoon’ as Victor’s restaurant will open soon after their wedding, leaving little time for the newlyweds... read more
They say home is where the heart is. It’s safe to say Elza Jo agrees with that. Born in 1981 in Amsterdam where she now lives and works, Elza graduated in 2004 from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. As a photographer and filmmaker, she likes keeping it all in her own little backyard. Literally. She allows the viewer to take a peek into her personal surroundings. Friends, her cat Rico, and Elza Jo herself are most definitely her three favourite subjects.

Jonathan Safran Foer’s book ‘Eating Animals’ turned me and quite a few people I know vegetarian, if not vegan, but I understand that books are hard for some (time constraints, being illiterate, whatever) and the idea of reading a distressing book seems to put a lot of people off. But ‘Food Inc’ only lasts for 90 minutes and I think most people can deal with that. Food Inc is an important if somewhat disturbing film made to educate people about the truth behind the food industry in America... read more
!Media Molecule have just shown the world the first glimpse of the sequel to its critically acclaimed Playstation 3 title Little Big Planet. Boasting more in-game customisations than it’s predecessor the teaser trailer is sure to set the rumour mill on fire with glimpses of sackboy clones and top down racing. The trailer hints at something called ‘digital puppetry’ and describes itself as not only a platform game but “a platform for games.” ... read more
New York is my dream city. I’ve been toying with the idea of moving there for a while now, and this is the kind of film that taps in to that desire by mythologising the city through stories of love and human encounters.
It’s Emmanuel Benhiby’s dream to make movies about these dream cities of the world, with ‘Paris Je T’aime’ as his first and ‘New York, I Love You’ as the second instalment. He’s planning Rio, Shanghai, Jerusalem and Mumbai which is ambitious, but these... read more
Not every iPhone game is a puzzle popping, doodle jumping, 30 second whiz. Rockstar have brought their acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series to the iPhone making the platform a real contender in handheld gaming.
If you’ve played any of the Grand Theft Auto series you’ll know what you’re getting yourself into with the iPhone port of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Here’s how it goes- you steal some cars, run from the police, shoot a few rival gangs- what’s amazing... read more
High on drugs, two youths on a motorbike screech around a London housing estate. Filmed as a dizzying point-of-view sequence at the start of ‘Harry Brown’, the grey English sky wheels overhead and buildings streak by in a silvery blur. Viewed at this speed even the ugly estate looks lyrical.
Random shots are fired and a mother pushing a pram slumps onto the concrete. The action screeches to a halt as we cut to the home of pensioner Harry Brown (Michael Caine). Harry scrapes burnt toast... read more
