NAKED ART STUNT BACKFIRES

Another pesky contemporary artist, another arrest.

After six months surveying workers, Alaskan-born Zefrey Throwell, conducted a five minute performance piece outside The New York Stock Exchange, which he claims was a social critique of Wall Street.

The performance entitled Ocularpation, involved a horde of 50 volunteers, most disguised as well-dressed day-trippers, acting out the motions of people on the daily grind.

In an effort to bring the “transparency” of... read more

BOXED IN

With a background in photography, London designer Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad’s clever wall shelf design takes its concept from a hanging picture. Named shelf frame, the simplicity is remarkable as it is practical, hanging from the wall by just a single pin. Gripping the wall for stability using silicone pads on the rear and using tension cabling for weight, the boxes are immune from tipping when weight is not distributed evenly through your beloved display items. Frame your life in wonderful compositions... read more
