Located in Lubjana, Slovenia, AS Aperitivo bar and restaurant, designed by Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc in collaboration with Arhe d.o.o. architects, is a ripe mix of both masculine and feminine elements.

Outstanding as the designer’s first interior project, Zupanc was already world renowned for her product design, and there are so many wonderful pieces to feast your eyes on while you drink and dine.

Using her sweet and fabulous cherry shaped pendant lights, part of her 2009 collection, hanging from the ceiling, teamed with black fabric “skirts” stretched around furniture and bathroom basins, the girly touch is evident, contrasted against deep masculine tones and black Pina chairs from Magis, designed by Jamie Hayon.

Zupanc’s products have also been produced by large furniture manufactures Moooi and Moroso.
