When it comes to street style maverick and leggy fashion icon Anna Dello Russo, it’s all about quantity and quality in equal (and very significant) measure. It’s near impossible to imagine the Italian glamazon and Vogue Nippon editor-at-large not dripping in garish accessories that are worth the GDP of  a small island nation. In fact, she once told Self Service that “nothing succeeds like excess”. When it comes to her new collaboration with chain H&M, however, the quantity is certainly there, although we’re assuming without the same level of luxury. After all, you can hardly expect an elaborate solid gold headpiece at H&M’s delightfully budget prices.

Despite the lack of handcrafting and precious metals, Dello Russo’s offerings for H&M look pretty special to us. In rich jewel tones and liberally embellished with gold, diamantés and animal motifs, the collection is certainly not one for the less-is-more crowd. In typically hyperbolic fashion, Dello Russo has stated, “This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it.” Looks like we’ll be following the leader on this one.

Our pick of the range has to be these reptile adorned sunglasses. You’ll probably be needing them to protect those peepers next time you take a Fashion Shower.
