Regular readers may remember us fawning over Alice McCall’s latest collection ‘Babooshka’. The folk inspired range was shown at MBFWA this year and was a concoction of all our favourite McCall signature elements – prints, broderie anglaise, cutouts and more. Now McCall has collaborated with organic beauty company Indah to create the first fragrance for the brand.
‘Heartwood’ combines elements of girlish charm and bohemian flair, again signatures of the McCall brand. It is a mix of tuberose, rose and sandalwood, inspired by the fun-loving Babooshka collection. The packaging reflects the season’s hero print of yellow, red, pink and pastel flowers.
Designed in conjunction with Teisha Lowry, Indah’s founder, the perfume is actually a solid parfum balm, available in a cute small pot, perfect for any handbag.
Heartwood will be available from October 9th exclusively through Alice McCall boutiques and online for $39.
